What are Microbes
AKA microorganism
Microscopic single-celled organism
They are bacteria, viruses, fungi, bacteria, and parasites
Microbes are all around us, I know microbes especially bacteria and viruses, don't have the best reputation. They are known for causing disease, but not all microbes are bad. We probably cease to exist without microbes.

Benefits of microbes:
Bacteria help our bodies do important daily functions.
You may not realize this but there are trillions of bacteria living in and on your body right now, They help you do a lot of important daily functions such as digestion of food, protection from infection and so much more.
Viruses vs Bacterial infection.
Yep, Bacteria viruses, are used to kill and selectively target bacteria that cause bacterial infection, This process is called phage therapy. These bacterial viruses are called bacteriophages they are harmless to humans, animals, and plants. Phage therapy can help overcome the main issues we face today with antibiotics. Phages can work against both treatable and antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Phages are very specific about the bacteria they infect, so the collateral damage to normal flora and human cells is minimal.
Fungi are used to keep the pest away.
Fungi aid in the control of pest populations. These fungi can only infect insects, they do not infect animals or plants.
Microbes help in providing nutrients for the plants.
Fungi break down organic matter and release carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and phosphorus into the soil and environment. Some bacteria degrade organic compounds for energy, and without bacteria, we would not have soil to grow the plants.
Viruses are used in cancer treatment.
Viruses called oncolytic viruses are engineered to kill cancer cells. These viruses are used as treatments for sort of cancers.
Fungi are used in uses in the production of food and drinks
The unicellular fungi yeast is important in bakeries as it is used in the making of bread. Fungi are also used in the production of wine, beer, and some cheeses.
Fungi lead to the discovery of antibiotics.
The first antibiotics, penicillin originally came from the fungus Penicillium notatum.
